Manfred Eigner
Manfred R.P. Eigner (1943) Graduated in Geology at Leiden
University �The Netherlands. He joined Shell International
Exploration and Production Company in 1961 and started his career
as a chemical researcher. Meanwhile completed his study on Physics
and Chemistry thereby developing into an experienced researcher and
project leader. He spent a great deal of his assignments in
overseas areas such as the UK and Nigeria gaining a wide
operational experience in drilling and production operations. As
part of his liaison activities between Shell Research and field
operations he has spent a considerable time in travelling various
operating units that brought him to Brunei, Sarawak, Syria, Qatar,
Kuwait, Nigeria, Angola, Thailand and China. In December 2001 he
started his independent consultancy on business services related to
the Oil & Gas Industry. As a result of working and living in
different parts of the world he enjoys the challenges of diverse
cultural environments.
