Skills Management

To make a good product requires the right tools to do the job. Similarly, companies need staff with the right skills to achieve their corporate objectives. Skills management is a structured approach to ensure that this is the case.

Skills assessment creates an overview of the available of knowledge and skills at corporate-, team- and individual levels. It evaluates the suitability of available knowledge and skills to achieve goals and targets at these three levels in the organization. Based on the skills assessment learning plans (formal training and project based learning) can be made and their effectiveness assessed against targets at specified moments (e.g. by individual interviews).

EPTS can help to set up a corporate or departmental skills management structure (for larger projects in cooperation with Schlumberger/NExT) and perform skills assessments of staff to test if learning and development goals have been met.
